Today is actually my second to last day. Tomorrow is my last day. So I went into DurangoTV at around nine this morning and the first task I was given was to monitor audio levels on the camera once again while an interview was being done. That task was a little lengthy. The man who was being interviewed rambled a bit but it was cool listening to him. A little after that, Matt put me on photoshop so I could do something I could call cutting out a person. So he had some photos from a Skijorimg event and he had me use the quick select tool and just went around the horse and it's rider roughly. Then I went in to take out unnecessary parts of snow and got really precise with what I needed to select After that I copied via layer and turned off the eyeball that was on the new layer and then the rider and horse were by themselves! Thank you Roxy for teaching me "How to Photoshop!" So then I did a quick export as a PNG and put it in a specific folder. I was supposed to do more photos but there was another task that Matt had for me. I just needed to edit down some more interview footage. It was similar to last time, but this time I created the project in Adobe Premiere and made the project save to a specific folder and then imported the media I was given into Premiere. The first interview I was editing down was an interview of a man named Alexi. So there were two clips and the first clip of just Alexi talking was really easy to edit. The second clip was mainly getting Alexi to promote Express employment in a way. It was similar to those commercials that usually go about saying ,"Are you doing this? Then do this instead!" It was hilarious to edit especially when I could hear Matt in the background twice saying, "Looking for a job? Express Employment! Need some work? Express Employment! Got no money? Express Employment!" I was laughing pretty hard but I finished editing Alexi's clips. Then I moved onto editing two separate clips for two different ladies. Alicia and Julie. After I finished up with them, I went back to doing what I was previously doing in Photoshop. Cutting the riders and horses from the backgrounds. This was a little confusing when I started earlier but it just started flowing from there until I left and went home to finish my day with editing until three. | Photoshop cutout PhotosPhotoshopping the photo where the rider and horse are alone!
