Today was a laid back office day. But as always, the office days are nice in a weird way. I personally feel like some people would dread work in an office, but I have little to nothing to even complain about! I somehow just make the best of it and the office days somehow become really fun! But the first task I did today was put postal stickers on giant envelopes to individuals. I personally really like stickers so this was really fun. But I almost extremely goofed up at one point during this process. On one of the envelopes, I placed the sticker with the person's name, address, and area code on the top left corner where the Region 9 sticker went. So I saw that instantly, and immediately took it off carefully and put that sticker in the center where it belongs. The second thing I did was pick out a color for the minutes that were taken at a board meeting to be printed on. I picked blue and then my mentor showed me how to use a photo copier. "It was so difficult," oh my sarcasm was real. but no, it's actually really easy and we photo copied seventeen copies of the minutes which was followed up by me stapling them! I then copied several other documents and stapled them after redacting some confidential information in them. After that I got feedback on the work for the office's newsletter I worked on recently and made some changes such as deleting a space line here, and moving a section closer to the top, changing a name, and then placing a bio about me highlighting their intern. Me!
After that I did some research on JJ Abrams who directed films such as Star Wars The Force Awakens, Super 8, and Star Trek. Eventually I was called to duty again! I started off by looking for the addresses of several specific places in Ouray! That was quick and easy since all I had to do was open up the excel sheet the places were on and I copied and pated them into Google and bam, I got the addresses! Then I tri folded a bunch of brochures, that was fun! Like I said, I can make the best out of things! Once we finished folded the brochures, we photo copied some more documents! But we had a slip up on one of the sets we were copying...we forgot to redact several things! So that required going in and redacting each piece of confidential information! I finished redacting several copies and Stephani took it upon herself to take over while I copied and printed the last documents! So it turns out all of that copying, printing and occasional redacting was all going in the giant envelopes that I put stickers on this morning. So throughout the day, the printed copes came and were placed on a table in an order which I would ultimately grab one of each and pile them up. One I created all seventeen packers, I slid them all into the big envelopes and sealed them. Then I put them through a stamping machine! That was the conclusion of work for today. Oh I don't want to forget that Janae-nae came by and visited the offices today near the end of my day.

Week two Finale! / Reflection
So this week was pretty great! Especially doing everything I did and working with the people I did! The people at the DIFF offices, their names slip my mind but they were great and it was fun to help them out! Working with Matt and Zach at Durango TV, again was a blast! Throughout the week, Stephani was the one who gave me tasks when I wasn't out working with the others and she took me places so I could get some footage for my LINK project! I think that this week skill wise, I learned some common sense things such as operating a photocopier, editing a newsletter, redacting info, asking questions, and shredding paper of course! I also feel like my people skills have gotten better in a sense. I'm still a little timid around some of the people I've been around but all in all I think that this internship is helping me speak up a little more! For my project, I recently got 228 seconds of footage and that's some epic progress! I also edited a little more of the footage I already have on Final Cut. But next week, my goal is to ultimately finish my LINK project by next Friday and to hopefully get some drone footage next Tuesday. Since I believe I will be working with him on Tuesday. I honestly look forward to the upcoming week, but I then again I'm not. I think I'm going to be a little bummed when this is over. Oh well, I don't want to loath, I'm just going to seize the moment for the remaining duration of LINK!
